Like George Lucas, Alan Cadiz is doing prequels, this time to Alan's immensely popular Jibing with Alan Cadiz video. He again taps his many many years of teaching experience as founder of Maui's HST Windsurfing, to take you from beginner right up to the level of his shortboard jibing video.
The DVD starts with an in-depth look at entry-level windsurfing, then takes a quick look at different types of boards and sails, plus how to rig your sail.  From there waterstarting is broken down into several skills.  A point-of-view camera gives you the feeling of being there during the skills progression.  Lots of trouble shooting will help to guide you through your learn-to-waterstart experience. The DVD continues with sailing a shorter board; learning how to use a harness, the progression for footstraps, and techniques for sailing in higher winds.
